WillVault is designed to keep you in control of your Will — even when you give someone else permission to access it.
Your Will is locked
Your original Will is protected from unauthorised changes. Trusted Executors can be given permission to view and print authorised documents, but they cannot simply edit or delete your Will.
Choose who you trust
Nominate your Trusted Executor through your WillVault account. They receive their own secure access and never need your password.
Know when your Will is accessed
WillVault records authorised access activity so you can see when your Will has been accessed and by whom. Where notifications are enabled, you can receive an alert when your Trusted Executor accesses your documents.
Extra protection for important actions
Sensitive actions require additional owner authentication. Supported devices can use modern authentication such as passkeys, fingerprint, Face ID or Windows Hello.
Your original Will stays protected
WillVault is designed around document versioning. When a new Will is added, it becomes a new version rather than silently overwriting the previous document.
You remain in control
If you become concerned about access, you can use the WillVault emergency security lock to suspend Trusted Executor access.
A unique WillVault account
Every account receives its own unique WillVault Account Number. This provides a simple way to identify your secure WillVault account without using the number as a password or security credential.
